Mending Minds and Healing Hearts
The purpose of Mending Minds and Healing Hearts's is to capture and educate the listening audience concerning mental, emotional, and relational health. Each show will include a 15 Minute “Marriage Matters Segment”-where in a topic specific to marriage will be discussed.
Show topics may include:
-"I went HAM: How to control your anger",
-the importance of self care,
-psychiatric medications( why take them or why not),
-how family can be causing some of your emotional problems and how to
stop this process,
-mental health in the African American Community.
-what to do if I think a loved one has an undiagnosed mental illness.
A Little About Jacqueline Robinson, MAMFT,LAPC
Jacqueline Robinson obtained a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University and a B.A. in
psychology from Spelman College. She is an Associate Professional Counselor Licensed by the Georgia State Composite Board and is currently pursuing credentials as a Nationally Certified Counselor, and licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy. Jacqueline's passion is in restoring emotional, mental, and spiritual health to hurting people and in mending familial relationships. Jacqueline has done a substantial amount of work with: depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, marriages and families, border line personality disorder, and psychotic disorders.Experiences in practice for Jacqueline have been diverse, ranging from providing therapeutic services in residential treatment facilities, to inpatient acute care facilities and private practice. Jacqueline specializes in Marriage and Family Therapy addressing issues including but not limited to: conflict management/resolution, trust concerns, intimacy concerns, infidelity, domestic violence, and premarital therapy.
